Procrastination when mixed with the absence of goals, could become a lethal and ever-lasting mix. So lethal that you could be branded a loser for the rest of your life. When you are a professional procrastinator, you are a year too late for everything.
How can I stop procrastinating?
You have to understand that you need to push yourself every single day. Because the only way that you can succeed in life is by taking action. Let us do an exercise; I want you to write a list of the things that you wish to obtain or achieve. Now that you have a purpose, you need to set a target date in which you are expected to mark that goal off.
There are the three things that you need to beat procrastination; purpose, direction, and action. If you want to start a Website, watch some video tutorials or read a book on how to do it and then, do it. If need to lose weight, talk to professionals, read related articles and then start eating right. If you want something, convince yourself that you really want it and act as you want it.
Your time in in the NOW and the more you wait, the less time you will have to enjoy the good things that life can provide. Make your time count and find a way to finish what you start.

If you don’t have personal or professional goals, then, what are you doing with your time? Have you achieved everything that you always envisioned for yourself? Are you satisfied with the amount of money you earn or with the life you have? If the answer is “no,” proceed to write down your goals on a piece of paper and tell yourself that you have unfinished business on earth. Start by setting achievable goals, something that you know can be achieved in a short time-frame. Once you start scraping goals off your list, you will gain the confidence needed to take on bigger goals.
Another thing; organize your goals by importance and difficulty, then set a reasonable time-frame for its completion. You could also categorize your goals as Life, Personal, Professional, Short-term, Long-term goals, etc. Go over the list every single day and remind yourself that only by taking action, those goals will be achieved.
